PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to survey, demarcate and fence the property comprised in S.No. 5/6A3 admeasuring 0.65 1/4 Acres out of 0.87 acres and S.No.16/1 admeasuring 0.48 Acres out of 0.64 acres, totaling to 1.13 1/4 Acres, situated at Koorambadi village, Walajah Taluk Vellore District (presently Ranipet District) in view of E- Challan receipt No.20240112009874 dated 12.01.2024 and further direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection till the completion of the above process by considering petitioner's representation dated 15.08.2023. This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to survey, demarcate and fence the property comprised in S.No.5/6A3 admeasuring 0.65 1/4 Acres out of 0.87 acres and S.No.16/1 admeasuring 0.48 Acres out of 0.64 acres, totaling to 1.13 1/4 Acres, situated at Koorambadi village, Walajah Taluk Vellore District (presently Ranipet District) in view of E- Challan receipt No.20240112009874 dated 12.01.2024 and further direct the 2/4

respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection till the completion of the above process by considering petitioner's representation dated 15.08.2023.

2. Heard Mr.C.Harish, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2024 at the earliest.

4. In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2024 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/4
