This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file Final Report in Crime No.842 of 2017.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner that there was a theft in his house, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.842 of 2017 on 16.04.2017 under Section 457 and 380 IPC against unknown accused.

4.Today, Mr.S.Ashok Kumar, Gr.I PC 26279, M-4 Red Hills Police Station is present before this Court. 5.Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation within a time bound manner cannot be issued. However, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.842 of 2017 expeditiously. Police Station is directed to monitor the investigation in Crime No.842 of 2017 that is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Red Hills Police Station and take effective steps to complete the investigation expeditiously.
