O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner, his men and agents to proceed with cultivation of their lands in village No.145, Narasingapuram Village, Madura Kuppam, Chethupattu Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

2. Heard the petitioner Mr.Natarajan, [Party-in-Person] and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that for a similar relief, this petitioner has filed W.P.No.23753/2015, in which this Court has passed order on 19.08.2015, pursuant to which https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this petitioner has filed Cont.P.No.1347/2016. It is the allegation of the petitioner that one Chinnadurai and Barani, who are the owners of the neighbouring land are using high voltage gelatins for digging out well, which is depleting his water source and has also threat to his land. This same allegation appears to have been made by the petitioner in W.P.No.23753/2015. The District Collector, Tiruvannamalai District has passed an order dated 07.06.2016, pursuant to the contempt action initiated by the petitioner, in which he has concluded that there is no basis in the allegation made by the petitioner.

Under such circumstances, no direction as prayed for can be granted to the petitioner in this petition. Recording the same, this petition is closed.
