This Criminal Appeal is filed against the order of acquittal in a private complaint initiated under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The impugned order is dated 26.03.2007. The private complainant preferred appeal before this Court in the year 2011. Later, for want of jurisdiction, it was transferred to I Additional District and Sessions Court, Tiruppur. Again pursuant to the order of the Division Bench, the case was re-transferred to this Court.

2.When the matter came up for hearing on 08.07.2022, the name of the appellant's counsel was directed to be printed in the cause list and it was listed today.
