..Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose the petitioner's Revision Petition, dated 06.02.2017 for removing Adi Dravida condition in the Revenue Accounts for the land comprised in Survey No. 82/2 over an extent of 0.45.0 Hec. in Kariappati Village, Vazhapadi Taluk, Salem District within the stipulated time as directed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition dated 06.02.2017 for removing Adi Dravida condition in the Revenue Accounts for the land comprised in Survey No. 82/2 over an extent of 0.45.0 Hec. in Kariappati Village, Vazhapadi Taluk, Salem District, within a time frame.

2. Mr. M.Muthappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed the Revision Petition before the 1st respondent as early on 06.02.2017, the same has not yet been disposed of .

3. Mrs. K. Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the Revision Petition, within a time frame, in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the Revision Petition dated 06.02.2017 filed by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
