ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2014 within a stipulated period fixed by this Court.
2.
The case of the petitioner is that taking into account her illiteracy and poverty, the 2nd respondent granted patta to her in respect of the lands in Survey No.295/34 to an extent of 74 square metre at Siruthamur Village, Mathuranthakam Taluk by proceedings dated 21.7.2005. But after the election, the President, Town Panchayat along with M.L.A. have encroached upon her property by trying to put up row houses. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation dated 4.8.2014 to the 1st respondent to survey her allotted land and hand over the same to her possession. Though the same has been forwarded to the 2nd https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent, no action has been taken.
Thereafter, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 16.2.2015 to the 2nd respondent in this regard. Since there is no response for the same, the petitioner is before this Court with this Writ Petition.
3.
Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4.
Since the petitioner has already issued with a patta in respect of the lands in Survey No.295/34 to an extent of 74 square metre at Siruthamur Village, Mathuranthakam Taluk, she wanted to survey for the purpose of having boundary therein. Therefore, the 2nd respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 4.8.2014 and complete the exercise of surveying the land, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 5.
The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
