Heard Mr. T.S.Vijayaraghavan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. S.Ravichandran, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First to Third Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed to restrain the First to Third Respondents herein from in any manner handing over the administration of the Temple of the Second Respondent to the Fourth Respondent.

In view of the order dated 05.02.2024 in M.P. No. 16 of 2023 passed by the First Respondent confirming the earlier order dated 14.10.2014 in M.P. No. 37/2013/B1 appointing the Fourth Respondent as the Hereditary Trustee of the Temple of the Second Respondent to the Fourth Respondent, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to challenge the said order with consequential reliefs and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. It is needless to add 3/6

here that no view has been expressed by the Court on the merits of the controversy involved in the matter.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
