Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce Miss G.Lavanya aged about 27 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

O R D E R

The petitioner/Gunasekaran and his wife along with the learned counsel on record are present.

2.The detenu, Lavanya aged about 27 years is produced by the second respondent/Inspector of Police, Town Police Station, Namakkal before this Court. When we enquired her, she stated that she got married to the third respondent/R.Prakash who is already a married man and she is only willing to live with him and she is not willing to leave him and go with her parents. The same is informed to her parents also.

3.In view of the above stated position, this Court is inclined to allow her to go to the place of her choice. Recording the statement so made by detenu Lavanya, no further order is warranted.
