ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned online refusal order passed by the 3 rd respondent dated 28.01.2025 and for a consequential direction to the 3 rd respondent to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

2.Heard Mr.B.Bhuvaneshwaran, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

3/6 3.The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a Settlement Deed dated 14.12.2023. The petitioner submitted an online application on 13.12.2024 seeking for transfer of patta in his name. The said application has been rejected through an online rejection order dated 28.01.2025 which has been put to challenge in the present writ petition. 4.In the considered view of this Court, the rejection order does not carry any reasons and on that ground alone, the same is liable to be interfered by this Court. Accordingly, the online rejection order passed by the 3 rd respondent is hereby quashed and there shall be a direction to the 3 rd respondent to conduct an enquiry and get the necessary clarification from the petitioner and pass necessary orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
