This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 4 days in filing the appeal against the judgment in Crl.A.No.440 of 2023, dated 20.11.2025, passed by the Court of VI Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai-104 in C.C.No.842 of 2018.

2.Mr. M.Jai Kumar, learned counsel, accepts notice for the respondents and undertakes to file his vakalat and counter affidavit. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

4.Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed. 5.The counsel for the appellant is directed to serve a copy of the appeal papers on the learned counsel for the respondents.

6.Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission in due course. 7.Post the matter after two weeks.
