Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, Page No.1 of 4
praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the 4th respondent in Na.Ka.No.5007/C2/E2 dated 09.08.2012 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of B.T.Assistant on consideration of the fcat that the petitioner is qualified with B.Com and B.Ed prior to 01.01.2007 as per G.O.Ms.No.134 School Education Department dated 15.06.2007 on par with Juniors with consequential and attendant benefits including arrears of salary.

ORDER
This matter earlier came up for consideration before this Court on 12.06.2024. As there was no representation for the petitioner, the matter was directed to list on 21.06.2024. Thereafter, again the matter was listed on 04.07.2024, once again there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the learned Judge of this Court directed the Registry to delete the name of the petitioner and print the name of the petitioner in the cause list. Thereafter, again the matter came up for consideration on 24.07.2024. On 24.07.2024 and 05.08.2024, in both the occasions there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to list under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today, inspite of the matter being listed under the caption 'for Page No.2 of 4
dismissal' also, there is no representation for the petitioner. 2.
Further, it is submitted by Mr.K.H.Ravikumar, learned Government Advocate that B.Com degree possessed by the petitioner is not the relevant qualification for considering the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of B.T.Assistant and the petitioner as a matter of fact is not eligible for promotion to the post of B.T.Assistant. 3.
In the light of the above, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution and the same is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. The connected miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand closed. No costs. 06.08.2024 Index :
