Mr.D.Surya Narayanan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents and by consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to register the compromise decree dated 16.03.2017 passed in A.S.No.462/2014 by this Court in the Encumbrance Register in the office of the 2nd respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not seeking for registering the said compromise decree and on the other hand, she seeks for making necessary entries in the Encumbrance Register about the said compromise decree passed by this Court in A.S.No.462/2014 dated 16.03.2017. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the said request may be directed to be considered by the respondents.

Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and also the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents and give a fresh representation/application seeking for necessary entries in the Encumbrance Register within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation/application, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs.
