This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.9 of 2016 expeditiously.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 29.09.2015, investigation is pending in Crime No.9 of 2016 before the respondent.

4. In view of the above, the respondent-police is directed to complete the investigation and file a Final Report or a Closure Report as the case may be, expeditiously, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
