ORDER

It is brought to the notice of this Court that has against the order dated 27.05.2016 made in WP.No.15762 of 2016 which is the subject matter of this contempt, a Writ

Appeal has been filed by the official respondents in W.A.No.1000 of 2016 and vide judgment dated 31.08.2016, a Division Bench of this Court has disposed of the Writ Appeal, granting liberty to the purchaser to extend their co-operation to the Government in collecting the deficit stamp duty and seek for release of the document and the vendor, namely, the 5th respondent in the writ petition has filed a review application in Rev.Apln.No.113 of 2016 and it was disposed of on 01.11.

2016 by the very same Bench, granting liberty to the 5th respondent to file their objections and thereafter, a direction was given to the concerned respondent, who shall pass necessary orders after affording an opportunity to the Review Petitioner within a period of one month thereafter and the Review Petitioner was directed to pay the deficit stamp duty demanded or to have recourse by way of approaching the appropriate forum. It was also indicated in the said order that the 3rd party purchaser, viz., the petitioner herein had also paid the stamp duty for the present transaction and the documents shall be released to him subject to the filing of an undertaking that they will extend their cooperation till the proceedings before the District Registrar to be raised by the erstwhile vendor is concluded.

In the light of the said development,

nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition and therefore, the same is closed.
