This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioner on the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that, on a complaint lodged by one Khaleelur Rahman and his wife, petition enquiry is pending before the 2nd respondent.

4. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioner. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
