ORDER

Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay and settle the terminal benefits of Rs.15,18,947/- along with interest at the rate of 9% p.a. for the belated payment from the date of due on 01.05.2012 till its payment.

2.The petitioner served as Secretary in the third respondent Management and after completing 39 years of service, retired from service on 30.04.2012. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that his retirement benefits have not been settled by the third respondent Management till date. But the respondents have not come forward to take steps to disburse his retirement benefits in spite of repeated remainders. Therefore, he has come forward with the present writ petition. 3.Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and sought six weeks time to consider the petitioner's representations dated 27.07.2015 & 11.03.2017.

4.In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 27.07.2015 & 11.03.2017 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
