The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 from permitting the third respondent from demolishing the flats in block No.161, New No.240, Mangalam Colony, Annanagar, Madras - 40.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the respondent authorities had suspended the act of demolishing the subject flats by the third respondent and hence, nothing survives for adjudication herein. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned, if the same cause of action continues. 4.Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
