ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the survey field number has been wrongly mentioned as "143/A" instead of "144/3A" in the prayer of this writ petition. Recording the said submission, the prayer of this writ petition is amended to the following effect and the Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the cause title :- "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct survey, measure and fix the boundary stones in the Property comprised in Survey Field No.144/3A, situated at Vadugam Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District, in based on the petitioner Application No.2026/0123/09/000078 Dated 08.01.2026 and consequently effect sub-division in respect of the petitioner property within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court." 2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on his application, dated 08.01.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 08.01.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the respondents are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit to put on notice. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- Page No.3 of 6

(a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, whom they deem fit to put on notice.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents shall conduct the survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(c) There shall be no order as to costs.
