Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Section 149 of the Code of Civil Procedure, to condone the delay of 601 days in paying the deficit court fee of Rs.1000/- in C.M.A.SR.No.69234 of 2023 and consequently permit the petitioner to pay the deficit court fee a sum of Rs.1,000/- in C.M.A.SR.No.69234 of 2023.

JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was authored by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) This petition is filed to condone the delay of 601 days in paying the deficit court fee.
2. Heard Mr.S.Senthilnathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.S.Santhi, learned counsel for the respondent.
3. Though this petition is opposed by the learned counsel for the respondent, since the delay is 601 days in paying the deficit court fee, having taken note of all these factors, we are inclined to allow the present petition only on terms of payment of Rs.2,000/-, being the cost payable by the petitioner to the respondent through the learned counsel appearing for the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the petition shall automatically stand dismissed without any further reference to this Court.
4. On the compliance aforementioned terms, the present petition stands ordered.
