ORDER

Since, there was no NCTE approval to the petitioner College, this court by order dated 21.12.2017 injuncted the petitioner not to admit any student in the petitioner institutions.

2. When the matter is called today, the learned senior counsel for the petitioner has submitted, pursuant to the orders of this Court, the institution has been closed down and therefore seeks permission to withdraw the Writ Petition. The counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect and hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

3. This case would only prove the fact that the University has got absolutely no control over the institution and the University has not verified as to whether the Teacher Training institutes are functioning with proper approval or not. Therefore, it is the duty of the University to verify each and every institution which are admitting students in their training institutions, so that any institution shall not venture into defrauding the students.
