ORDER

Seeking grant of licence/permission for running a bunk shop at No.40 H, 2nd Avenue, Near LIC Building, Front of Aavin Milk Booth, Anna Nagar, Chennai - 40, the petitioner made a representation to the second respondent, which is stated to be still pending consideration. Now, the present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the said representation.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.03.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
