ORDER
Seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Coimbatore, to expeditiously conduct the trial and to dispose the case in CC.No.148 of 2007, the petitioner has come up with this petition.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the material placed on record.
3.It is seen that a case in CC.No.148 of 2007 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Coimbatore, is pending since 2007 and no progress appears to have been made in this case. 4.It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that one of the accused has been absconding and another accused died. 5.Under such circumstances, this Court directs the learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Judicial Magistrate No.I, Coimbatore, to expeditiously conduct the trial in CC.No.148 of 2007 and dispose of the same, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. He may also take steps to split up the case against the absconding accused, if the police are not able to secure him. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
