W.P.No.14261/2016 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to receive the application in form CCPA dated

30.03.2016 together with prescribed fee and grant the Maxi Cab Permit in respect of the vehicle Reg.No.TN-05-AE-0343 forthwith.

Pleader COMMON ORDER The petitioners have filed the above writ petitions to issue a writs of Mandamus, to direct the respondent concerned to receive the respective applications of the petitioners dated 30.03.2016 and 05.04.2016 together with Form CCPA and the prescribed fee for the grant of Maxi Cab Permit in respect of the following vehicles:

(i)Reg.No.TN-23-AE-8631;

(ii)Reg.No.TN-18-C-1706 ;

(iii) Reg.No.TN-25-AZ-3853; and (iv) Reg.No.TN-05-AE-0343 forthwith.

2. Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and submitted that the respondent concerned may be directed to consider the petitioners' application in accordance with law.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent concerned to receive the respective applications of the petitioners dated 30.03.2016 and 05.04.2016 in Form CCPA and the prescribed fee for the grant of Maxi Cab Permit and consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

01 With this observation, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
