ORDER

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 17.12.2015 preferred against the order of the 2nd respondent dated 16.10.2015, within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed the appeal as early as on 17.12.2015 before the 1st respondent, the same has not yet been disposed of by the first respondent.

4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 17.12.2015, filed by the petitioner, as against the order passed by the second respondent dated 16.10.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
