Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to direct the first respondent to hold enquiry into the torture of the detenue Arivalgan, son of Kandan, aged 30 years in the hands of third respondent team to secure the ends of justice.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The relief sought for in the present Habeas Corpus Petition is for a direction to the first respondent to hold an enquiry into the torture of the detenu Arivalagan, Son of Kandan aged 30 years in the hands of the third respondent team.

2.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents now brought to the notice of this Court that the said detenu Mr.Arivalagan, son of Kandan has been released on bail, in Crl.O.P.No.7997 of 2018 dated 16.03.2018.

3. This being the factum of the case, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken, in respect of the grounds raised in the Habeas Corpus Petition. It is needless to say that if any grievance exists, it is left open to the petitioner to approach the competent Court of law, in the manner known to law.

4. Accordingly, the petition stands closed.
