ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the second respondent to dispose the statutory appeal of the petitioner dated 19.03.2012 in accordance with the law.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Senior Counsel for the fifth respondent and perused the materials available on record. Though notice served on the fourth respondent and the name has been printed in the cause list, today no one appeared before this Court in person or through pleader.
3. A perusal of the counter filed by the respondents 1 to 3 revealed that the petitioner failed to challenge the Government Letter dated 22.12.2011 and preferred an appeal as against the order of the third respondent. However, the appeal is pending on the file of the second respondent.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal dated 19.03.2012, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 herein, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.
