The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to investigate the case in Crime No.28/2015 and file a final report.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint against one Durai Kanthasamy and a case was registered in Crime No.28 of 2015 for the alleged offences under Sections 448, 427, 506(i) IPC on 15.05.2015. Now, 8 months have lapsed. But, till date, there is no progress in the investigation of the said case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to expedite investigation in the case in Crime No.28 of 2015 and complete the same and file a final report as early as possible. 5.

The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
