ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the same in respect of the petitioner in C.C.No.2636 of 2020 on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB & CBCID Court, Egmore, Chennai.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.2636 of 2020 pending on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB & CBCID Court, Egmore, Chennai has been subsequently transferred to the file of learned Special Metropolitan Magistrate II, Land Grabbing Cases, Egmore, Allikulam, Chennai and re-numbered as C.C.No.44 of 2022, wherein, the petitioner/A1 along with A2 to A4 were acquitted from the charges framed against them on 17.10.2022.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side), this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
