ORDER

This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed to quash O.A.No.18 of 2025 filed by the 1st respondent herein pending on the file of the Special Court under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (Financial Establishments) Act, 1977, TNPID, Chennai.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1st respondent. Perused the materials available on record. 3.

The prayer itself is not maintainable for the simple reason that the writ petitioner is challenging the petition filed by the 1st respondent in O.A.No.18 of 2025 on the file of the Special Court under the Tamilnadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (Financial Establishments) Act, 1977, Chennai. The 1st respondent filed a petition seeking attachment of the schedule mentioned property and it is pending for adjudication. Therefore, the petitioner ought to have contest the said petition in accordance with law and it cannot be challenged on the ground that the said petition itself is not maintainable.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is dismissed. No costs.
