ORDER

The learned Special Government Pleader has drawn the attention of this Court to paragraph No.6 of the counter affidavit and would submit that the respondent vide proceedings dated 07.04.2017 has informed the petitioner that his request in the subject matter could not be considered by the office of the respondent and the remedy open to the petitioner is to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer in his native place to get the Nativity Certificate.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in terms of the direction issued by the respondent vide proceedings dated 07.04.2017, the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer may be directed to consider the petitioner's request as expeditiously as possible. In the light of the stand taken by the respondent in the counter affidavit, as and when the petitioner approaches the jurisdictional Revenue Divisional Officer, for issuance of the Nativity Certificate and other required documents to enable him to get the Hindu Scheduled Tribe Kurumans Community Certificate, the same may be considered and

disposed of as expeditiously as possible and not later than six weeks from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner. The contempt petition is closed subject to the above observations.
