This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 16.03.2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a Panchayat president Tmt. Deepa Moorthi and a private individual contractor Tr.Elangovan, Katteri Village had swindled a sum of Rs.6,44,500/- allotted under Jaljeevan Movement 2020-2021 scheme to Manjapattu Village Panchayat for execution of providing drinking water pipe line connection to 205 residence. The respondent police has not acted on the complaint of the petitioner dated 16.03.2022. Therefore, this petition. 3.

In reply, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Tr. E.Arun had already given a complaint on 30.10.2021. On the basis of his complaint, preliminary enquiry is ordered and it is in progress. For the same allegation, this complaint is given and therefore, it is not necessary. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that already law is set in motion on the basis of the complaint of Tr.E.Arun against the alleged misappropriation of Rs.6,44,500/- by Tmt. Deepa Moorthi and Tr.Elangovan, this Court is of the view that this petition is luxurious and not necessary. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as not necessary.
