Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to remove the encroachments in the resource channel from suvedha river to the irrigation tank and to remove the encroachment in supply channel and in the adjacent road so as to have free flow of water in the channel and use the road by the agriculturists and the public authorities duly measuring in installing stones in the irrigation tank in Noothappur village, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner claims to be the Deputy Secretary of Veppanthattai Union MGR Youth Wing of the Ruling Party and yet claims that his request for removal of encroachment has not been heeded to by his Government and thus, requests the Court to step in.

2.On hearing the learned counsel for parties, we direct that the representation of the petitioner dated 25.02.2016 be decided by the second respondent / Tahsildar to whom instructions have already been issued by the first respondent / District Collector vide proceedings of 23.02.2016 and such action be completed within the maximum period of three (3) months of the receipt of the order, after notice to all concerned and by a speaking order.
