ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the Respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2021 to release Terminal benefits, Provident Fund and all dues of the Petitioner's Wife G.Subasini in GPF Number/CPS Number: 7000251112 of Government Higher Secondary School, Veppanapalli and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame as deem fit and proper by this Honourable Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is the husband of one G.Subashini. He got married with her on 09.04.2017. The petitioner's wife had joined as a Science Teacher in the Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Veppaapalli, Krishnagiri-635 121. She suffered with Systemic Lupus Erythematosis and she died on 23.05.2021, due to her illness. Though the petitioner is the legal heir of the deceased wife

G.Subashini, while she entered into the service, she had nominated her parents' name as nominees to receive the terminal benefits and other dues. However, the petitioner is the nominee for GPF and other insurance benefits.

4. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner to release Terminal benefits, Provident Fund and all dues of his deceased wife cannot be considered, since the petitioner is not the nominee of his deceased wife.

5. In view of the above, this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
