Chinnapaiyan, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal II, Chennia and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before the Court and set him at liberty. 1. The petitioner is the brother of the detenu, namely, Thiru.Maran, S/o.Chinnapaiyan, male, aged about 30 years. The detenu stands detained by the second respondent by virtue of his order bearing BCDFGISSSV No.97/2017 dated 30.10.2017, wherein, he has been held to be a "Goonda", within the meaning of Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

1.1. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the said order of detention, passed by the second respondent against the brother of the petitioner has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.5889, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XI) Department dated 12.12.2017, a copy of the order has also been produced.
