Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to consider her application dated 06.09.2016, followed by the reminder letter dated 28.02.2018, wherein and whereby, she sought for issuance of Patta in her favour in respect of the land situated at No.13, Vasantha Nagar, Vanchuvancheri Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kanchipuram https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

District comprised in Sub Division Survey No.1/126 in Survey No.1/1B, Patta No.765 measuring 600 sq.ft.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to dispose of the application dated 06.09.2016 and the reminder letter dated 28.02.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
