Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the basis of his representation dated 14.07.2016, within a time frame.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation dated 14.07.2016, for getting refund of the excess stamp duty paid by him. However, the respondents have not refund the amount so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2016 and pass orders, in accordance with law.
5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
