Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondents herein under the Contempt of Court Act for deliberately disobeying the order dated 23.08.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.No.21538 of 2018.

This Contempt Petition arises out of the order dated 23.08.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.No.21538 of 2018. 2.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that subsequent to the aforesaid order of this Court, the fourth respondent vide proceedings in Procs.No.B1/005/2022 dated 20.06.2022, has considered the petitioner's representations dated 04.07.2018 & 10.08.2018 and rejected the same since as per the Revenue Records, the subject land is used as "Vandipaathai" i.e., 'Cart Track' which is meant for Public Access. He has also produced a copy of the said proceedings before this Court.

3. The above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has been conceded by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the fact that the fourth respondent has complied with the order dated 23.08.2018 passed by this Court in W.P.No.21538 of 2018, the respondents are discharged from the contempt proceedings and consequently, this Contempt Petition is closed. 24.06.2022 mrr Index : Yes/No 3/4
