ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner has filed an appeal before the Additional Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai, on 28.11.2019 as against the order passed by the District Collector, Krishnagiri Disrict.
The petitioner preferred a further appeal before the first respondent on on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
27.12.2019, which is stated to be pending. Seeking early disposal of the appeal dated 27.12.2019, the present writ petition has been filed.
2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner has been evicted already and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
3.What the petitioner seeks is early disposal of the appeal. The dispossession in the meanwhile will not make the appeal infructuous as the petitioner challenges the order of the District Collector, Krishnagiri District.
4. In such view of the matter, we direct the first respondent to dispose of the pending appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
