Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings Pa.Mu.No.6581/N2/2011 dated 24.12.2013 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to return back the document No.1043/2005 dated 26.03.2009 to the petitioner. ORDER

Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record. 2.The petitioner challenges the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent dated 24.12.2013 with a prayer to quash the same. 3.The order impugned in this writ petition has been passed by the Inspector General of Registration and against the said order, a Civil Miscellaneous Appeal lies to this Court. Hence, the writ petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, the same is dismissed. No costs. However, this will not prevent the petitioner from filing an appeal before this Court in accordance with law. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
