This writ petition has been filed to call for the records relating to impugned proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 22.12.2015 in Na.Ka.582/2014/A3 and also by Government Gazette Notification dated 23.12.2015 by removing the President of T.Kalathur Village Panchayat and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to function as President of T.Kalathur village Panchayat, Alathur Panchayat Union, Perambalur district.

2. The election relates to year 2015, since the period is already over, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition. As the period is already over, there is no embargo for the petitioner to contest the future elections.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No

costs.
