The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 420 of IPC, in Crime No.659 of 2023, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners had induced the defacto complainant for securing a Government job and have received an amount of Rs.6,00,000/- and thereafter, cheated him. Hence the complaint.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the petitioner under the guise of securing Government job, received a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- from the defacto complainant. vkr of Rs.3,00,000/- and till date, the defacto complainant had paid interest for the said amount. He would further submit that the investigation is still pending.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
