The petitioner's daughter Ezhilarasi @ Mahalakshmi committed suicide on 21.07.2018. Pursuant to which, a case in Crime No.379 of 2018 has been registered on 22.07.2018. While so, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate.

3.Learned Government Advocate submitted that the investigation is in progress and the Viscera Report itself has not been received.

4.Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations, this Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, in charge of Wallajapet Police Station to monitor the investigation in Crime No.379 of 2018 that is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Wallajapet Police Station and take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

steps in accordance with law expeditiously and either file a Closure Report or a Charge Sheet as the case may be under due intimation to the petitioner.
