This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register a complaint dated 21.01.2015 made by the petitioner, investigate and take appropriate action, in accordance with law and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. On a reading of the complaint, the allegation of the petitioner is that he is attending the Council Meeting, but the Panchayat President has manipulated the records in such a manner that the councilor/petitioner is not attending the council meeting. It is a case where the representation should be given to the Collector and only after enquiry is done and if there is found any tampering of records, then prosecution can be launched. Under such circumstances, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in a manner known to law.
