This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 08.04.2015 lodged by the petitioner, investigate the same and take necessary further action in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. It is represented that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 08.04.2015 to the respondent Police by post and no action was taken. The petitioner is directed to go in person and give a fresh complaint to the respondent-Police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
