Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent herein to consider the representation made by the Petitioners herein on 23-8-2018 and to implement the revised pay scale to the Eligible teaching faculties of IRT- Perundurai Medical College and Hospital pursuant to the Government orders in G.O.MS.No.86, Transport department dated 17-4-2013, which came to be amended in G.O.MS.No.45, Transport Department dt 254-2016 by releasing monetary benefits to the petitioners herein and the other eligible teaching faculties of IRT- Perundurai Medical college and Hospital with effect from 25-4-2016. O R D E R

The grievances of the writ petitioners are that the revised scale of pay as applicable with reference to the Pay Rules has not been implemented by the respondents.

2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners state that the writ petitioners have submitted representation on 23.08.2018, setting out all the facts and details for the purpose of grant of revision of pay in accordance with the Pay Rules and as per the Government orders. 3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 23.08.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is also directed to enclose the copies of the representation and all relevant Government orders and Pay Rules applicable, along with the orders passed in the writ petition.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
