The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to forbear the respondents 1 to 3 from granting approval to the 4th respondent or any other person to erect shelter like structure near existing Thellaur Bus Shelter.

2.The construction of bus shelter or bus stand is the policy decision to be taken by the competent authority considering various mitigating factors and in accordance with the Act and Rules. However, the writ petition was filed in the year 20015 and six years lapsed. Thus, the relief sought for in the present writ petition lost its relevance and if any other grievance exist for the petitioner, it is left open to him to approach the competent authorities, however, the Court would not interfere in such policy decision regarding the construction of bus shelter for the welfare of the public at large. 3.With this liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
