This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to alter the FIR in Cr.No.287 of 2016 on the file of the respondent based on the additional complaint dated 11.06.2016 lodged by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case in Cr.No.287 of 2016 on 12.04.2016 for offences u/s 147, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506 (ii) IPC. Not satisfied with that, the petitioner has come up with this petition for alteration of the penal offences.

4. In the considered opinion of this Court, a direction as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, during the course of investigation, if materials surface for inclusion of higher offences, it is needless to state that the respondent police shall include the same in the Final Report, if any.
