This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 08.03.2021 wherein the petitioner has sought for the waiver of the rent during the entire lock down period and for extension of the lease period without demanding any further payment.

The respondent has filed a counter affidavit and it is seen from the counter affidavit that the representation made by the petitioner has already been rejected by the respondent through proceedings dated 07.04.2021.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the proceedings dated 07.04.2021 was never served on the petitioner and the petitioner is not aware of the same. 4.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that he has a copy of the proceedings dated 07.04.2021 and the same will be served on the learned counsel for the petitioner today itself.

Taking into consideration the subsequent event that had taken place wherein the representation made by the petitioner has been rejected by the respondent through proceedings dated 07.04.2021, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
