ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed to seek a direction on the respondents for removal of encroachments in Thoravi Periya Eri Canals situated at S.F.No.161 at Thoravi Village, Villupuram District.

2.The petitioner has not impleaded the encroachers against whom the allegation of encroachment has been made as party respondents.The photographs otherwise do not show encroachments, but it is seen that somebody is cultivating the land. 3.In view of the above, a specific direction as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be given. However, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents that no encroachment shall be allowed in the canal concerned and if there is any encroachment in the canal, the same is to be removed immediately and is to be maintained with the dimensions given in the survey number.
