ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.02.2020 for the offences publishable under Sections 364, 364(A), 457, 392, 302 and 201 IPC, in Crime No.188 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused abducted the husband of the defacto complainant to a remote place and attacked him with knife and murdered him. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and a false case has been foisted against the petitioner. He further submitted that the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.02.2020 and since then, he has been in judicial custody. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner was arrested very recently and that the investigation is pending. Hence, he opposed for the grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into account the serious nature of offence and the petitioner was arrested very recently and that the investigation is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present.
